Black and White Photography Make-up
You will find that when you do Black & White Photography Make-up you deal with light and dark, and not colour when working on your client's face.
The softness of the Whites, the subtle Grey tones and the strong emphasis of the Blacks makes one look much closer to the subject and composition due to the lack of natural colour.
Before you apply foundation make sure that all red tones in the skin are covered with a green concealer to effectvely hide any redness. Red can show up as gray in a black and white picture.
Go easy on the foundation as the best part of black and white photography is that it literally makes your skin look good.
Make-up colours that have a blue, red or purple shades or undertones will look darker in the picture than you think.
Black eyeshadow doesn't show up black, but rather a dark gray in a picture. If you want to emphasize black smoky eyes, you'll have to put it on.
For that dramatic look on the lips try a burgundy lipstick.
